His start in the music industry came initially as a featured artist on a local rapper's single. After reconnecting with SMG/Shear Genius Productions head Anthony J. Shears at chance encounter in Seattle, WA, Deveraux began writing songs for SMG. His first major breakthrough came in 2010 when he co-wrote and performed on the single "Dear Hip Hop", one of the most-played songs on local urban radio that year. His second major breakthrough came when he co-wrote and performed on the single "Go Hard", which went to the top of the local Hip Hop charts. "Sheet Music," the first EP he's recorded comes out October 30, 2012, and features the singles 'A Lonely Place' and '1,000 Paths'.
