After spending the winter this year on this great new material, it was off to the studio in April through June this year to get the track just right and then July mixing with the engineers it was finally finished. Dave's 5th and latest Album is fresh Rock Americana Pub music at it's best and local sampling has labeled it 'his best so far'. Eleven brand new original Acoustic/Electric rock with a Coffee house folk/rock feel with a double espresso. Some tunes have already had some local air play on college station and a few streaming independent website broadcasts. Early reviews have the Album as 'his best so far', 'What's It Really Like' is a powerful catchy tune as well as the title track and 'Some Kind of Something' and 'Upside Down' which has not been available for downloads and are Coffee House favorites. 'Going Underground' in 2009 and the 'Clock on the Wall' from 2011 have been a big successful in Europe and Dave continues to have fans in Europe, Asia, Ukraine, the US, Netherlands, and even Australia. Dave began his career back in college working in several rock 'n Roll bar bands and leading a trio for a few coffee house folk bands. That give him a chance to experience with original tunes. That is still the case as it was always his wish to write and sing his own original tunes. In the early 90's, he set out on working small places, during several originals in between acoustic version of some standards from Tom Petty, the stones, the Who and Dylan. After 2 years, the set became mostly original songs with an occasional guest or two on stage. Early in 2007, recording began in the Studio on the first album, 'Desert Spirit', was release January 2008. It is a set of nine songs originally written years before. A trip to the southwest with it's hot days and warm nights, sipping cold beer by the pool with the vivid sunsets of dark purple and pink neon streaks crisscrossing the sky did the trick. 'Just A Man In the Moon' was released last year on a 'Full Moon' and has be enjoying quite a run on the Itunes Europe market. Both albums were released on the independent label by CDBaby and is currently on major digital download sites as Amazon and Itunes. Dave is beginning to draft some new material even as this CD is just being released. He plans on spending some studio time this winter working on a new EP and playing venues with some cover tunes mixed in. Please sit back, listen, and enjoy!
