This concept album tells the story of a man made plague that takes over the land turning those infected by it into zombie-like creatures. The infection originates as a direct result of experiments performed in an attempt to engineer the perfect human that does not get sick and does not age. The benefactor, the scientist/apprentice, the mentally unstable test subject and two "placebo" subjects from the initial breakout are just a sampling of characters the songs touch upon in this dark, dreamy yet danceable piece. The story ends with the scientist/apprentice managing to finalize a spacecraft and escaping with what survivors could be rounded up through their radio broadcasts.
