I, Charles Edward Gillett better known as 'Papito' migrated to Los Angeles, California in 1979 after sustaining a spinal injury in Belize, Central America where I was born. I got involved in music as a lead vocalist at an early age. I just love singing. I wrote quite a few lyrics and composed many songs but I was never published. I sang with four groups which performed mostly on the week-ends in different towns and venues within the county of Belize. My bands also played music in the neighboring countries of Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador. While living in Los Angeles, I was able to turn my lyrics and ideas into my present CD. I'm sure you will enjoy listening and dancing to my music. In 2006 my wife Marjorie and I moved to Kennesaw, Georgia where we now reside.
