Happy International Women’s Day! We are so excited to celebrate and recognize some of the amazing women that we have here at FYE.  Over the last few days, we’ve featured women from our Marketing, Merchandising, Store Services, eCommerce & IT teams who are just a fraction of the ladies who help make FYE possible. Today we are highlighting some more of the amazing women behind our brand each day making things HAPPEN!

What is your favorite part about working at FYE?
We do something fun it isn’t stuffy and boring like other jobs

What music are you blasting in the car on your way to work or what do you listen to that puts you in your happy place? 

R&B, Hip-hop or Jamaican Dance hall

What’s your all-time favorite item that you have gotten from FYE?

My Harley quinn hoodie & Funko

What female superhero (or villain) would you cast to play you in your autobiographical movie and why?

Harley Quinn because she is such a good person besides being a villain & Life is about balance. She is funny, bubbly and maybe half crazy, but she isn’t actually crazy.

What makes you feel confident?

Titivating myself, new achievements

What is the one piece of advice that you have learned in your career that you would pass along?

Pack lunch. I don’t but if I can help someone else save money; why not?

What is your favorite part about working at FYE?
Being able to product develop one-of-a-kind products for our customers and offering that exclusive, can’t find anywhere else experience!

What music are you blasting in the car on your way to work or what do you listen to that puts you in your happy place? 

An eclectic mix of Today’s Hits and throwback Alanis Morissette.

What’s your all-time favorite item that you have gotten from FYE?

Candy, candy, candy! A plethora of international brands I can’t easily get anywhere else.

What female superhero (or villain) would you cast to play you in your autobiographical movie and why?

Scarlet Witch (aka: Wanda Maximoff), because she is low key the most powerful in all of the Marvel Universe and she doesn’t flaunt it. Besides, I like to think I have a little magic in me to induce chaos, if need be.

What makes you feel confident?

Humor and laughter is the greatest cosmetic for beauty! Not taking life too seriously and making sure to laugh along the way.

What is the one piece of advice that you have learned in your career that you would pass along?

Never pass up an opportunity to continue to grow yourself, you can never stop learning. Being a boss lady in the workplace is all about knowing your craft and sharing with others that you are absolutely killing that craft. Don’t be afraid to be confident and talented, it’s sexy as hell.

There are different challenges every day.

Any music. I love all genres

I absolutely love my soft orange FYE blanket

What female superhero (or villain) would you cast to play you in your autobiographical movie and why?

Captain America  I got to meet her in person on a Marvel cruise

What makes you feel confident?

Knowing I accomplished what I set out to do

What is the one piece of advice that you have learned in your career that you would pass along?

The grass is not greener on the other side. Stick it and and make the outcome what you are looking to achieve.
