(2-CD set) Bernie Pearl's Old School Blues marks his 50 year history with the music. The first disc is solo acoustic guitar and vocals by Bernie with acoustic bass on two tracks by Michael Barry. On the second disc Bernie is backed by his longtime band of Michael Barry - bass, Albert Trepagnier Jr.. - drums and Dwayne Smith - piano. Disc 1 tracks include: Blues in the Bottle, Goin' Down Slow, I'll Fly Away, I Be's Troubled, Rock Me Mama, Pawnshop Blues, God Moves on the Water, Country Sugar Mama, Shake 'Em Down and Berlin Rag. Disc 2 tracks include: Automobile Blues, Cherry Ball, Crosscut Saw, Driving Wheel, the Ballad of Freddie, If You Lose Your Money, Rocks & Gravel Boogie, You Know I Love You and Baby, You Don't Have to Go.
