from Weehawken, NJ Outlaw Star will keep you hooked from the first episode.
There are several animes out there. Some are decent, some are bad, but very few are worth owning. Outlaw Star is definitely one of the few with a significant amount of replay value. The story is deep, the english dubbing is decent, and the characters are likable. It keeps you interested from the first episode. This is a must buy.
