Backstage Pass is a rewards program which provides members with certain benefits. A Backstage Pass can be purchased and activated at any f.y.e. retail location, or on-line. Customers get an immediate 10% discount on their in store purchases. Additional membership benefits, included only with a Backstage Pass VIP membership are available within 2-3 days of purchase.

There are two types of the Backstage Pass program:

What does the f.y.e. Backstage Pass membership cost and how long does it last?

The f.y.e. Backstage Pass membership fee is $25 per year. Membership expires one year after purchase, on the day after you initially purchased your f.y.e. Backstage Pass card.

What does my f.y.e. Backstage Pass membership get me?


An additional 10% off purchases at f.y.e. for your entertainment stores and online at fye.com, Exclusive Member-only offers and discounts via email *f.y.e. Backstage Pass Members do not receive discounts on the purchase of Gift Cards, Gift Coins, f.y.e. Backstage Pass membership fee, iPod units, Downloads, Game Hardware and Tickets. The discount will be applied after all other deductions are accounted for.

Can I use the f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member Card in all f.y.e. for your entertainment stores?

The card may be used to get discounts at all f.y.e. for your entertainment stores, fye.com, as well as at f.y.e. Movie and f.y.e. Games stores.

What information do I have to give you to become a f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member?

All you need to supply is your name, mailing address, phone number, date of birth and email address. In order to assist us in tailoring the f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member Program to better serve you, we may also ask you for other information from time to time.

Can I just pay you the $25 and get the f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member Card?

We request your personal information so that we can provide the best possible customer service and deliver your f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member benefits. If you should lose your f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member Card or require other assistance from the f.y.e. Backstage Pass Customer Service, we will be limited in the help we can provide if there is no f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member profile in your account. In order for you to receive special offers and discounts, it is important for you to provide us with your name, address, and email address, so we can deliver these exclusive f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member-only benefits to you.

What if I join now but decide later that I no longer want to be a f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member? Can I get a refund on the portion of the f.y.e. Backstage Pass membership that has not expired?

If you purchased your f.y.e. Backstage Pass membership at a f.y.e. for your entertainment store, you may cancel the f.y.e. Backstage Pass membership at that store, but you will only receive a full refund if cancellation is requested within the same day of the purchase date. A receipt is required. After the one day, f.y.e. Backstage Pass membership fees are non-refundable. Partial refunds of the f.y.e. Backstage Pass membership fee are not available.

How will I know when my f.y.e. Backstage Pass membership expires?

We will contact you prior to your renewal date to remind you that your f.y.e. Backstage Pass membership is about to expire provided that contact information is available in your f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member profile.

How Your Discount Works

Does the discount apply to everything in f.y.e. for your entertainment stores, with a few exceptions? What about online at www.fye.com?

The discount applies to purchases throughout f.y.e. for your entertainment stores and online at fye.com. Members do not receive discounts on Gift Cards, Gift Coins, Tickets, iPod units, Game Hardware and the f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member Program fee.
The discount cannot be combined with any other group or organizational discount (e.g., Student Advantage, corporate discounts, etc.).

Is this discount added to the discount already existing on bestsellers and sale items?

Yes. For example, a store CD discounted 20% off of list price to all customers will be sold at an additional 10% discount to f.y.e. Backstage Pass Members. The f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member discount will be applied after all other discounts and deductions have been applied to the purchase.

How do I get my discount when shopping in stores?

To receive your discount, simply provide your f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member Card at the register. Your discount is automatically applied to all valid purchases.

How will I get my discount when shopping online?

When checking out your products, you can add your Backstage Pass membership card number at the bottom of your shopping cart, and click the proceed button to check out. The 10% discount will be automatically taken off and shown on the next page.

If I join today, will I receive my discount on today's purchase?

Yes, you receive your discount immediately.

Your f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member Card is non-transferable and for your use only.

What if I don't have my f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member Card with me in the store? Can you look up my f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member number? Will I still get my discount?

Your f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member Card is the access to your benefits, and it is important that you carry it with you to receive your discounts in the store. If you happen to forget your f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member Card, and have completed a f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member profile, we can retrieve your f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member information in the store at checkout.

How can I renew my f.y.e. Backstage Pass membership?

Renewing your active or expired membership can be done in a f.y.e. for your entertainment store or on-line. You can use the 'Purchase' button near the top of this page to the add the renewal membership to your cart.
Your renewed membership will begin once your current active membership has expired. Note that in order to keep track of your total f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member savings and your purchase history, its important to renew your current account rather than purchase a new f.y.e. Backstage Pass membership when your current one expires.

How can I ensure uninterrupted service with f.y.e. Backstage Pass membership?

Simply renew before your annual membership is up. This can be done at any f.y.e. for your entertainment store or on-line.

At this time, we do not offer more than one f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member card per account.

What do I do if I lose my f.y.e. Backstage Pass Member card?

If you have lost your Backstage Pass Card, we ask that you go to your local f.y.e., Suncoast, Sam Goody, or PlanetMusic store to have a new one ordered. In 4-6 weeks you should receive a new credit card style card by mail. Unfortunately at this time we are unable to replace the small key FOB style cards. All requests for new cards must be made through your local store.

In the mean time, you can still enjoy all the benefits of the card when shopping by providing your name and phone number as it appears on the account at the time of purchase.
