World Wrestling Entertainment's reigning interactive entertainment title returns to DS with WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009, a game that adds new WWE superstars and more match-types to the dual-screen smackdown action. The 2009 edition of the game also sports a new control scheme that uses the stylus and touch-screen as well as the D-pad. Also for the first time on DS, Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 features full "Create-a-Superstar" options, allowing players to design a custom wrestler from scratch, choosing his appearance and attributes and leading him into a season-long quest for a Wrestlemania victory. Structured like an RPG, the game's redesigned season mode allows players to improve their characters as they gain experience with each win.
