Based on the animated television program, Viva Piñata: Party Animals includes more than 40 mini-games as well as races that take place between sets of the mini-games. Players can choose to compete as one of eight characters: Paulie Pretztail, Petunia Pretztail, Hudson Horstachio, Hailey Horstachio, Fergy Fudgehog, Francine Fudgehog, Franklin Fizzlybear, or Florence Fizzlybear. The game supports up to four players on the same console or via Xbox Live.
