Fists fly when a Shaolin Monk leaves his temple to venture out in an annual trip that will pit him against many foes eager to disprove his ancient kung fu skills. A Master of the Crane Fist, Abbot Yao Kun (Lee Bing Hung) leaves his place of worship only once a year to see how the world has changed. On this particular trip, he encounters a wicked warlord and his army of ruthless recruits, all of whom will be at the receiving end of the Kun's dreaded Crane Fist by the final reel.
