Knightowl's third album, recorded for the Familia label, is a solid addition to the California rapper's discography. Though he doesn't use quite as many Latino phrases or accents as other rappers like Capone, and concentrates more on West Coast G-funk similar to Warren G. The productions are just interesting enough to sustain interest in what Knightowl has to say, and even though he seems a bit hung up on violence ("I Murder Mutha Fuckas,""Taking All You Bitches Out,""Still Bangin,""Fools Yell for Mercy,""You Best Nut Double Cross Me"), he's a good rapper. ~ Keith Farley, All Music Guide
