Science Papa is a collection of mini-games intended to both entertain and educate. The game's lighthearted story casts players as the newest members on Science Papa's research team, where they will conduct research and experiments in multiple branches of science. Activities include creating chemical reactions, heating solutions, digging up fossilized bones, and wiring electronic gadgets. As players accomplish in-game tasks, new equipment becomes available and new challenges are unlocked. Experiments are designed to be hands-on, as players prepare and mix chemicals by mimicking motions with the Wii Remote. In head-to-head multiplayer modes, speed counts. Players can race to be first to successfully complete their experiments, or try to slow down their opponent with a little good-natured sabotage. Although officially no relation to Majesco's popular Cooking Mama, Activision's Science Papa presents activities in a similarly encouraging, paternal manner.
