Click on the field header labeled "Extensions" (to order the list by extension)
Scroll down and click on the entry for "ASX"
Click on the "Change Action" button
Select the top radio button labeled "Open them with the default application"
Repeat steps 6-8 for every instance of the ASX extension in the list. When you are done, click "Close" then click "OK" in the options window. Audio samples should now play properly in Windows Media Player.

It should be billed as "Some of the Biggest Pulse-Pounding Hits of the Late '80s and '90s" and "Roughly 10-20 Years Old!" Dozens of other discs have served the same exact function, but there is no denying that this is one-stop shopping for those who only need the basics, like Crystal Waters' "100 Pure Love,"Ce Ce Peniston's "Finally,"Bizarre Inc.'s "I'm Gonna Get You,"Haddaway's "What Is Love," and even that old hoary chestnut, L.A. Style's "James Brown Is Dead." A minor note, possibly major for DJs: the track listing on the back of the disc does not specify which mix of each track is supplied.
