The DS version of Petz: Horsez 2 continues the story of a young girl named Ginger as she raises up to three foals and prepares them for cross, jump, and dressage competitions. Ginger's grandfather owns a ranch in France and desperately needs help in caring for the horses. Ginger will meet other characters on the ranch, from a trainer to a shopkeeper, while trying to "save" her home from being bought out by a rival named Charlotte. Players must regularly feed and groom their horses via touch-screen controls, gradually increasing the animal's statistics in the areas of happiness, confidence, health, and more. Players will use the stylus to brush coats, pick hooves, clean stables, and perform other tasks. Competitions also incorporate various touch-screen controls as well as microphone support, where players speak commands into the handheld to guide horses. Successfully completing each training lesson or activity earns players certificates of achievement. Wireless support is also included for swapping and breeding horses with a friend, or for sending sick foals to Imagine: Animal Doctor for veterinary care. Owners of Imagine: Animal Doctor can earn additional certificates and training courses as a special bonus.

This is a good game but has quite a lot of room for improvment:
I really enjoy playing this game but it lacks instruction in dressage, and it is also called Pippa Funnell 2. I have become stuck in dressage in what to do in "Piroutte". Overall its really good.
