Abigail Breslin, Jodie Foster, and Gerard Butler are the main players in this brilliantly made family picture based on Wendy Orr's best-selling children's book about a young girl named Nim and her scientist-father, who live on an uncharted island in the South Pacific until a tropical storm causes Nim's father to become stranded at sea while she attempts to communicate with a seclusive authoress living in San Francisco via e-mails. A movie you can enjoy with the whole family.
