The trademark shooting and vehicular combat of the Metal Slug series comes to DS gamers for the first time in Metal Slug 7. Taking place before the events of Metal Slug 4, Metal Slug 7 puts gamers in the shoes of familiar characters such as Marco, Tarma, and Fiolina, as they blast their way through seven frenetic levels in another attempt to take down General Morden's forces. The S' lower screen serves as a map to guide players toward power-ups and captives, and gamers can blast their way through each level in the new Slug Truck, Slug Gigant, and Heavy Armor vehicles.
