Michael Knight returns to DVD with this season-two set from the fine folks at Universal. Containing some of the most classic Knight Rider episodes, this three-disc edition has everything -- evil Hasselhoff as the mustached Garthe Knight, Geena Davis in an early TV appearance, plus a shameless singing performance from Hasselhoff as Michael goes undercover as a pop singer (complete with head-to-toe leather outfit!). Sadly, the set doesn't quite live up to the jam-packed season-one release, with zero bells and whistles as far as extras are concerned. Still, the full-frame picture and Dolby 2.0 soundtrack make for a fine presentation for this beloved series, and fans will surely buy the set whether it has a Blueprints gallery or not. The set is worth it if only for the "Return to Cadiz" episode in which K.I.T.T. turns into a boat.
