Filmmaker Chris Diani made his feature debut with this campy horror comedy, on which he served as director, writer, editor, and producer. The film centers on a group of gay men who converge on a beach house for a birthday party in the late '60s. Unfortunately for them, their fun is cut short when some monstrous mosquitoes begin turning some of the townspeople into flesh-eating zombies. Creatures from the Pink Lagoon screened at the 2006 Seattle True Independent Film Festival.
