The second DS game based on Taffy Entertainment's Code Lyoko animated series features four multiplayer modes, a new storyline, and a revamped battle system. The game's narrative mirrors the fourth season of the television program, which finds William Dunbar held captive by the evil computer AI known as X.A.N.A. Players guide the four Lyoko warriors (Yumi, Odd, Aelita, and Ulrich) as they advance across the Digital Sea in a mission to defeat X.A.N.A. and its cyberspace cronies. Characters can be outfitted with upgradeable attacks, items, and special powers, ranging from firewalls and viruses to bugs and programs. The battle system combines real-time action with turn-based commands as players advance through 100 arenas. Wireless support is included for normal, handicap, bet, and challenge matches.
