Click on the field header labeled "Extensions" (to order the list by extension)
Scroll down and click on the entry for "ASX"
Click on the "Change Action" button
Select the top radio button labeled "Open them with the default application"
Repeat steps 6-8 for every instance of the ASX extension in the list. When you are done, click "Close" then click "OK" in the options window. Audio samples should now play properly in Windows Media Player.

Released by Commonwealth Records, A Boston State of Mind acts as both a label sampler and a way to show off some of the lesser-know Bay State underground rappers (which means Mr. Lif, Akrobatik, and 7L are nowhere to be seen here, although Esoteric does appear on Mic Stylz's track "Bringin It Back"). This means that there might not be a lot of interest outside of Massachusetts for MCs like Slaine, Ripshop, Bawston Strangla, and Bomshot, but for fans of the city's scene, or people looking to expand their knowledge of other areas' talent, the compilation provides a decent, though by no means complete, look at what's happening in Boston in 2007.
